2. GMI Print Test Essentials: Live Coaching for GMI Print Test Success

Expert live Zoom/phone coaching timed precisely for your official GMI print test day. We stay connected in real time: reading press sheet values, performing side-by-side spectrophotometer cross-checks, running instant scoring in Curve4 Verify, and providing clear go/no-go guidance to help optimize your submission for better chances of first-time approval.

This is live test-day support — not the official GMI certification itself. We provide real-time verification and expert advice during the press run, but final results and approval are determined solely by SGS & Co. (owner and manager of the Graphic Measures International certification program) after their independent review.

What you receive:

  • Duration: One focused session (typically 60 minutes, or as needed during the run)

  • Format: Live Zoom/phone + real-time data verification

  • Booking requirement: Must be scheduled during your official GMI print test window

  • Ideal for: Printers and packaging facilities who have completed preparatory work (internally or via our Printer Essentials program) and want an experienced co-pilot to help optimize the actual GMI print test run, reduce risks, and increase the likelihood of first-submission success.

3. GMI Certified Printer Ongoing Support & Maintenance

Protect your GMI certification long-term with priority expert access, proactive drift prevention, and rapid issue resolution. This monthly retainer is designed exclusively for already-certified printers to maintain consistent, certifiable results, avoid compliance risks, and safeguard relationships with major brand clients.

What you receive:

  • Up to 20 hours of reactive support per month (tracked in 15-minute increments) — priority on-call consultations via Zoom or phone with response within 1 business hour during standard business hours.

  • Immediate troubleshooting and feedback for color deviations (delta-E issues), production problems, client complaints, file reviews (PDFs, ICC profiles, CGATS data, plate curves), and quick approval/rejection guidance.

  • Ongoing maintenance support: regular verification of curve stability, recommendations on equipment changes, new material integrations, or process updates to keep your system fully GMI-compliant.

  • Job-specific color management assistance and independent second opinions to reduce rework, rejections, and certification jeopardy.

Program details:

  • Format: Flexible month-to-month recurring retainer with on-demand reactive support (no fixed sessions; hours used as needed within each billing month).

  • Pricing: $2,000 per month.

  • Overages: $200 for the next block of 5 hours; $300 per additional 5-hour block thereafter.

  • Optional Add-On (Separate Purchase): Remote Full-Day Assistance — real-time, hands-on guidance during critical print runs (plate densities, ink adjustments, operator decisions) via Zoom/phone. $600 per day (or $500/day when booking 3+ days in the same month).

  • Ideal for: GMI-certified printers seeking sustained performance, confidence during high-volume/client work, and a safety net against process variability or certification drift.
