How Mann & Co. Uses CoSchedule

One of the key features we utilize at Mann & Co. is called ReQueue.

There are a lot of conversations out there about how to automate social media. While some methods are worth a try, many still require considerable manual work. You must think strategically about when to schedule your posts, what to post, what networks to post to, and so on. Many tools don’t allow you to bulk schedule or schedule a single post multiple times, which means you either have to reinvent the wheel every time or save all your posts in a cumbersome swipe file for later.

ReQueue utilizes data-driven intelligence to get the right messages out to the right people at the right time. Isn’t that the essence of effective marketing?

With ReQueue, you can set and forget your scheduling. All you need to do is add new messages, and CoSchedule will use intelligence to keep your social queue filled.

Setting Up ReQueue

One of the great things about ReQueue is how incredibly easy it is to set up and use. Just follow these steps to get ReQueue working for you.

Step #1: First, click on the gear icon. Then select “Calendar.”

Step #2: Click on “ReQueue.” This button should be visible on the left-hand side of the screen.


Step #3: From here, you can alter your ReQueue sending frequency and message sending limits. The default settings work quite well.

Step #4: Click on “ReQueue” in the main menu.

Step #5: Name your new ReQueue group. You can also add custom dates (a start and end date for the group) and group sending limits if applicable. Click “Save” when you’re happy with the name of the group and settings.

Step #6: Click “+ Add Message” to add your first social media post.

Step #7: Choose what social media profile you want to create the message for. Craft your message, choose which group you want to assign it to, and click on “Add Message.”

Google Analytics UTM Parameters

UTM Parameters are extensions you add to the end of links to better track traffic to your website in Google Analytics. With CoSchedule, you can set things up so that these parameters are automatically added to the links you set up to share on your social profiles. This way, you know exactly what links are sending traffic and obviously where the traffic is coming from.

CoSchedule has Analytics features. Perhaps the best and most useful feature is the quick view feature. Simply click on a campaign on your CoSchedule calendar, and you’ll instantly see the interaction with social media channels. You can quickly see likes, shares, and comments. It makes it so easy to get a quick overview of what content is doing well, and while you’re already in CoSchedule, you can determine what to do next. There are also additional reports available.

Task Templates

One more feature we love is the task template feature. It’s part of the workflow process and is excellent for working with a team on projects or even if you’re working with just yourself. You can create task templates for different tasks. It’s a checklist and works as a reminder and as a progress report. You can make sure you check off all the necessary items to complete a task, and you can make sure you and your team are getting things done on time.


Marketing your content is no laughing matter. Depending on your industry and target audience, you might be distributing your content across dozens of channels, multiple times per day. While this manually isn’t impossible, it is the way we all had to do it before automation tools came along.  This can eat into the time you should be spending creating great content.
